Community Contact

Our Community Contacts help us to promote SOSEA within Victoria, building up partnerships and links with State and local Government, health and care services and people within the other various communities in Victoria, and encouraging our members to participate in community events and services.

Administrative/Research Volunteer

We welcome volunteers with either administrative or research experience in order to enable us to achieve our outcomes, by helping with the collection and analysis of data and information and the writing of grants and reports or by carrying out specific administrative tasks which support the work of SOSEA.

As part of our volunteer management processes we may collect and store sensitive personal data about you. We are required by law to obtain your consent to such data being recorded. It is our policy to store data relating to recruitment procedures for a minimum of 12 months after the date on which it is submitted. Any information of this nature will be treated confidentially. 

Sensitive personal data is defined as information relating to any of the following; racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, health, sexual orientation, offences and/or convictions.

Any information you give in this form will be kept on SOSEA database and in accordance with the Data Protection Act will not be shared with anyone else without your permission.
